Traditional Amazonian Medicine

Revaluation and recognition of traditional medicine and indigenous ancestral knowledge.

The Shipibo Embassy and the regional government join forces with ancestral doctors from various indigenous groups such as Shipibo-Konibo, Huni Cuin, Ashanika and Awahún to revalue and recognize ayahuasca and indigenous ancestral knowledge.  The enormous knowledge of Amazonian plant medicine must be preserved and standardized for its official use on an international scale.

The vision

We want to revalue traditional Amazonian medicine and ancestral knowledge about healing processes, and promote its recognition and diffusion. Traditional Amazonian medicine has the potential to cure even serious illnesses such as depression, addiction, cancer and other diseases that conventional medicine still considers incurable. We want to bring the healing of the rainforest to the world!
